The King of Prussia Historical Society is proud to congratulate our immediate Past President and current Chairman of the Board, J. Michael Morrison, as the recipient of the 2019 Ella Aderman Acorn Award for Excellence In Preserving History.
The Ella Aderman Acorn Award was established by the Historical Society of Montgomery County (hsmcpa.org) to recognize individuals, organizations, and businesses who have made a significant contribution towards preserving the history of Montgomery County.
Michael’s commitment to our local history, especially King of Prussia, is well known to our KOPHS community. Michael has freely shared his knowledge with many organizations and schools. His work in Historic Restoration and Architectural Design led to his desire to raise awareness about the need for historic preservation in King of Prussia and the authorship of several books. Michael continues to inspire others to take an interest in our past, help preserve our local heritage, and enlighten its future.
Michael will be recognized at an upcoming Historical Society of Montgomery County event.
Congratulations Michael!
