EARLY AMERICAN THEME SET FOR NEW SHOPPING CENTER
A pedestrian mall of red brick, designed to simulate a Colonial town square, replicas of pre-Revolutionary cannons and a children’s play area in the form of a miniature stockade will be incorporated in King of Prussia Plaza, 60-acre shopping center at Routes 202 and 23, in the Valley Forge State Park area, it was announced last week.
The center, planned as the largest in the Delaware Valley and one of the largest in the East, will be the eighth to be developed by the M. A. Kravitz Co. ….
… King of Prussia Plaza eventually will have 700,000 square feet of selling space in 30 stores and parking for 6000 cars. Principal units will be an E.J Korvette department store, with a complete furniture department totaling 204,000 square feet, and an Acme Supermarket, occupying 27,000 square feet.
