On Saturday, 16 June 2018, the King of Prussia Historical Society hosted its first township tour, Historic Tours of Upper Merion. During this three hour drive through our township, participants heard about the rich and fascinating history of places such as these: Anna Holstein House, Lime Kiln and Brooks Quarry, Christ Church Old Swedes, Alan Wood Steel, Valley Forge Encampment and of course, our King of Prussia Inn. Following the tour, conversations continued as participants shared their own local history stories over lunch at Little Sicily Pizza.
