VALLEY FORGE, Pa, Dec 16 (1919) – Because his goats grazed on the Valley Forge Park property, Dominic Richard, of Port Kennedy, was arraigned before Magistrate McLaughlin charged with trespass. It was testified that the goats ate seventy-four heads of cabbage and destroyed other vegetables, the property of Charles W. Smith, caretaker at the park. The defendant paid the costs and damage. This was the third case originating from goats and cows pasturing on the State park land.
