With all the new apartments being built in the township, it is fun to look back at some of the early ones.
In August of 1962, the Continental Arms Apartments was scheduled to open as the first elevator type apartment house in the King of Prussia-Valley Forge Area. Rents in 1963 were advertised as starting at $125 – a month – utilities included. Today the property is known as Courtside Square Apartments, still within easy walking distance of numerous stores and public transportation.
