On Saturday, 16 June 2018, the King of Prussia Historical Society hosted its first township tour, Historic Tours of Upper Merion. During this three hour drive through our township, participants heard about the rich and fascinating history of places such as these: Anna Holstein House, Lime Kiln and Brooks Quarry, Christ Church Old Swedes, Alan Wood Steel, Valley Forge Encampment
Visit the KOPHS booth at the Upper Merion Farmer’s Market. Scheduled dates are: June 23, July 7, July 21 and August 11. We will have maps, aerial photos and items of interest. We always have a scanner there so please bring in your old pictures. We’re looking for pictures of the way things used to be, especially from the 1960s
