Young Historians from Cabrini College have collected oral histories from the residents of the Mt. Pleasant community for four years as part of the “Democracy and Diversity” course. At the Society’s May 10th meeting, Kate Hammond, Superintendent at Valley Forge Historical Park, will present Valley Forge National Historical Park in 2014 and Beyond. In 2016, the park will celebrate its 40th Anniversary as a National Park and the 100th Anniversary of the National Park Service. Attendees will learn what’s going on at Valley Forge at this exciting time
