In the 1960s, Sweetbriar was the second largest community developed by the Slott organization in the King of Prussia area. The previous successful development was Bob White Farms.
From a sales brochure:
Sweetbriar offers the unique blend of historic and modern America. Here in the midst of a great and vigorously expanding community the echo of the past is always present. The Valley Forge area is, of course, one of the most historic locations in the country.
Sweetbriar has an abundance of community features such as 4 Swim Clubs in the area, 2 public Golf Courses and several private clubs, 20 acres of Township park on the site, excellent schools, shopping and transportation. The influx of major industries to the industrial parks of the area assure a low residential tax rate.
