Please join the King of Prussia Historical Society on Saturday, March 11th at 2:00 pm for a very special interactive program where we will examine “The King of Prussia Story”, documenting many of the historic structures in the area that existed at that time. First published in 1956, and edited in 1959, it tells of the need for historic preservation in the face of looming development.
We will also introduce two new programs that the society is introducing for 2017. The register of historic places in Upper Merion is an interactive map that can be accessed through our website, showing various buildings and sites of importance in the area. The Upper Merion Streets project will document the origins of street names in the township, and we can add to the list as we evolve.
